    I’ve been wondering the past few days… If you’re good at being sad, can you get good at being happy? Can you get good at seeing happiness? Looking back at my childhood, I’m aware I learned from my father to look for sadness. He had a very tragic early life with many huge losses no child or young adult should have to bear. I don’t believe he meant to teach me to look for and find sadness, but it happened. I learned my lesson well, and I got very good at finding sadness.
